It’s been crazy busy at Open For Service!

I’m super stoked to show off the new directory that will be on our website soon!  If you are a registered business, you’ll be getting an email from us about your listing.  Keep your eye’s on your inbox!

For the past few weeks, I have been fortunate enough to have coffee, lunches, dinners, wine, and phone calls with the most amazing people.  These are people that have done so much for their community and continue to rock it out in general.  Hearing their excitement about our future plans just makes realize how important it is for us to become sustainable and support our human family.

I was able to have lunch today with a truly inspirational person today, and I have been so excited to see her all week.  Her energy and creativity are so inspiring.  I am so thankful that she took time out of her day to chat.

I keep getting the chance to talk to people that have been inspirational to me, and I feel so lucky to have them in my “squad”.  Every year I celebrate Valentine’s Day – whether it has been with a significant other, or the significant “others” in my life – I want them to know how much I adore them and YOU all.

We all have a lot of love to give – whether its romantic, or friendly – we should value love in all forms.  Every time a business registers on the website, I get an email notification.  It feels like the love for all people grows exponentially when I see that.

So here’s your homework for the weekend – tell someone you love them and why you love them.  What have they done that makes you love them so much?  How do they make you feel loved?  Tell your local Open For Service business that they have made you feel loved and appreciated.

As I write this, I am reminded of a super cool gal – Shannon Brasovan – that is the embodiment of this.  She tells people all of the time how great they are and how much she adores them.  You can’t help but smile when you are around her.  I hope you have someone in your life that does that for you.  Make sure to connect with them this weekend.

Okay, back to work I go on making this thing work.  Have an amazing Valentine’s Day, and we’ll chat soon, mmmmk?  Email me – if you are interested in getting more involved or have some ideas on how we can better serve you.  I am about 128 emails behind, so please have patience with me!
